My name is “Gill”, 49 years old. I joined the team in Garston Adventure Playground in May 2018.
I am a Play/Youth Worker and have previously worked in this capacity in other organisations for numerous years.
I have three grown-up children who have enjoyed being involved within Play and Youth settings for most of their lives and now my grandchildren are enjoying it too.
I am also a detached Youth worker so have been able to engage with some of the most vulnerable young people in communities across the South End of Liverpool.
I love history of all types and try to build this into projects so Young People can be aware of their own heritage.
In my spare time, I like to spend with my children and grandchildren, and my mother and family.
One of my passions is House music I love to go to events and festivals with my like-minded friends.
I dislike creamy food, but other than that I will always give things a go.
I love my job and being able to help Young People achieve their goals and dreams.
