The courses above were delivered online in which the volunteers either were done in the comfort of their homes or if needed assistance with took place in the playground’s computer room with a staff member there for advice and guidance.

Eight volunteers over three sessions gained new skills and greater awareness of how to effectively volunteer in a professional work frame of youth work.

Student volunteers also took part in external training with playground staff provided by Liverpool Children’s Safeguarding Partnership.
